Malmo FF's run in the allsvenskan continues. After the latest loss, a large group of fans waited outside the stadium. – It creates an uncomfortable feeling, says club security chief Peter Narbe to Fotbollskanalen. Directly after the 2-3 loss to Västerås, Malmö fans showed their dissatisfaction with the club's start. Several players were present at the short side and even injured Pontus Jansson was seen talking to people on the section. – I understand their (fans') frustration, we share it, says goalkeeper Johan Dahlin in the mixed zone. When everyone left the stadium, a large group of people gathered outside the stadium and several police and security guards were present. – It's a stressful situation and we see that people are moving there. Frustrating fans, unfortunately. But nothing happens more than that they are there. There were no players out during that time either, says security chief Peter Narbe to Fotbollskanalen. The injured star duo Jansson and Robin Olsen were the only two from the team who were in contact with those waiting outside. – It's not something that happens in normal situations during matches, so it's negative, says Narbe. In their latest match, the loss to Häcken two rounds ago, Dahlin went to the section after the match and managed to calm them down and was met with applause after a while. It was not the time to try to do something similar after the evening's match. Dahlin went as the first MFF player to the short side but chose to give them an applause from a distance, instead of going all the way and taking the conversation, before he left the pitch. – I think it can create an unnecessary conflict and it can come unnecessary comments. Therefore, I chose to actually applaud and thank them. They do an incredible job. Again, I understand the frustration. But we do our best, then there's a lot left, says the veteran goalkeeper. Instead, Erik Botheim and to some extent Daniel Gudjohnsen tried to take the conversation with the fans after the match. Malmo FF lost its fourth consecutive match and is in 12th place in the allsvenskan after nine rounds.
