Anel Ahmedhodzic, former Sheffield United star, is set to leave Feyenoord after interest from Championship clubs. Burnley lead the race for the centre-back. The 27-year-old made 114 appearances for Blades and was key in two promotion pushes. The club already received £7m for him last summer and could now sell him for £3m less. It's a loss for Feyenoord but a gain for Sheffield United. It's a shame not to reacquire the player, but finances are a key factor. Burnley could secure a top-tier defender for a reasonable price.
