The goal for Degerfors was scored by Dijan Vukojevic after 70 minutes. It was his second goal in the match. Degerfors started the match best and took the lead early in the match when Dijan Vukojevic scored the goal after a setup by Nahom Girmai Netabay in the 18th minute.
Directly after the break, Diego Garcia assisted by Sead Haksabanovic and equalized for Malmö FF. In the 70th minute, Dijan Vukojevic scored again, set up by Samba Diatara, and gave Degerfors the lead.
For the league table, this means that Malmö FF is on eighth place while Degerfors is on fourteenth place. When the two teams last met, Malmö won 1-0.
Malmö FF will face GAIS in their next match away on Sunday, August 16, 16.30. Degerfors will meet the same day at 14.00 against IFK Göteborg at home.
